Lana Cassels

Director

Lana has worked in administration, marketing and events for more than 20 years. She possesses a detailed knowledge of office and staff management, and understands the importance of providing a high level of service to our clients.

She has held several positions in the professional services and sports marketing sectors. She assisted in the establishment of Cassels Strata and continues to work alongside husband, Peter Cassels.

Kristi Kinast

General Manager

As General Manager, Kristi leads our team of experienced strata professionals. Kristi has worked in the strata industry since 2006 and is well-versed in the complexities and intricacies of strata management.

Teamed with her Bachelor of Business in Management and Certificate IV in Strata Management, Kristi has extensive experience in leading teams in and outside of the strata industry and has a passion for developing teams and individuals to provide professional, outstanding service.

With a keen interest in seeing the continued growth and professionalism of the strata management sector, Kristi contributes her experience to the industry in a variety of ways. She has served as an educator in the industry, as a Committee Member for UDIA’s Strata Management Committe, and as a Board Director, including as President, of Strata Communities Association (Queensland) where she enthusiastically contributed to the ongoing professional standards for the strata management industry across Queensland.

Sharon Withford

Senior Strata Manager

Sharon has over 27 years’ experience in the strata industry and is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to all things body corporate related.
She was a long-standing director and shareholder of a large Queensland-based management firm prior to joining Cassels Strata as a Senior Strata Manager. Sharon is a Fellow Member of Strata Community Association (Queensland).

Samantha Williams

Strata Assistant & Systems Administrator

Samantha has over five years’ experience in the Strata Industry. Known for being the Queen of Organisation, Excel spreadsheets and delicious baking, Samantha is an integral part of the Cassels Team and is always ready to assist clients and staff where needed. Her attention to detail and passion for systems ensures prompt and efficient processing of requests by our body corporate clients.

John Keller

Senior Accountant

With over 15 years of experience in strata finance and professional accounting, John Keller serves as the Senior Accountant at Cassels Strata, where he leads the financial operations across a diverse portfolio of body corporate schemes.
Holding a Bachelor of Business with a major in Professional Accounting, John brings deep expertise in trust accounting, financial reporting, audit coordination, and compliance. He oversees the preparation of annual financial statements, manages external audit processes, and works closely with strata managers and committee treasurers to ensure financial clarity and regulatory accuracy.
John is also a systems expert—highly proficient in StrataMax—and plays a key role in refining internal processes and mentoring junior finance staff. Known for his precision, reliability, and collaborative approach, John is committed to delivering timely, accurate, and transparent financial outcomes for every scheme under his care.

Crystal Warnes

Strata Manager

Crystal began her career in strata management in early 2017 and currently manages a diverse portfolio of schemes across the Sunshine Coast. She is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and fostering strong relationships with her clients. Crystal maintains a proficient understanding of the Body Corporate and Community Management Act and Regulation Modules and is dedicated to continuously refining her skills.

Crystal was a finalist in the prestigious ‘Strata Manager of the Year’ awards for Strata Communities Association (Queensland) in 2024.

Alecia Holden

Strata Manager

With nine years’ experience in the strata industry as both a strata manager and as a committee member, Alecia is well-versed in all things strata and actively develops solutions for any strata issue. Having been recognised in the strata management industry as the 2023 ‘Community Champion of the Year’ by the Strata Communities Association (Queensland), Alecia brings her award-winning attitude and dedication to service to all of her committees and lot owners.

Joseph Steward

Strata Manager

With four years of industry expertise under his belt, Joe embodies both professionalism and approachability. His background in international hotel & tourism management allows Joe to adeptly navigate complex strata arrangements, ensuring seamless operations and fostering a congenial atmosphere within communities.

From overseeing intricate projects to handling administrative intricacies, Joe’s proficiency shines through in every aspect of his work. Committed to nurturing sustainable and cohesive living environments, he prioritizes enhancing the community’s relationship while ensuring residents’ welfare remains paramount. Joe is recognised for his unwavering dedication and results-driven approach. Beyond his professional pursuits, he is a devoted family man who finds solace and excitement in the world of automobiles.

Joe was awarded the ‘Rising Star of the Year’ award for Strata Communities Association (Queensland) in 2024 and is a finalist in the National awards in 2025.

Tylah Vicca

Strata Manager

Tyah is a dedicated and well-versed Strata Manager having developed her knowledge and expertise throughout various roles in the industry over seven years. She believes that making small positive changes has a greater impact on communities and the wider industry. Throughout her career she has remained committed to delivering exceptional customer service and cultivating strong relationships.

Her portfolio consists of a diverse range of buildings, varying in size and character, each with its own unique requirements and needs. She is known for having a solution focused mindset and excels in high-demand situations.

Her commitment to excellence was recognized with the Strata Communities Association (Queensland) Support Team Member Award in 2023 and the Strata Communities Association Australasia Support Team Member Award in 2024. She continues to thrive in her role as she dedicates herself to simply helping others.

Litsa brings a diverse and hands-on background to strata management, with experience spanning real estate, business ownership, and strata management.

She began her career in real estate, working as a salesperson specialising in body corporate developments, before moving fully into the strata industry in 2005. Litsa spent eight years working in strata management, building strong practical knowledge of legislation, governance, and complex schemes.

Alongside her strata career, Litsa and her husband Peter founded their first business in 2005, which was successfully sold in 2017. They went on to establish two further businesses which are still thriving today. Through business ownership, Litsa’s customer-first focus has been honed even further and she brings this approach for each of her strata clients.

Clarissa brings a hands-on approach and exceptional attention to detail in property and strata management. She is adept at managing complex situations, providing practical, well considered solutions tailored to the unique needs of each strata community. Clarissa ensures transparency, clear communication, and effective resolution of challenging issues. Her approach combines professionalism, diligence, and a commitment to delivering high value service.

Charmaine Brown

Strata Assistant

Charmaine has over 12 years’ strata experience and strives to provide a high level of professional support for all clients. In her spare time, Charmaine has a keen interest in gardening and nature.

Jessica is a dedicated Strata Assistant with four years of experience, passionate about supporting teams and keeping operations running smoothly. Always eager to help wherever needed, Jessica thrives on making a difference – both in the workplace and the community. Outside of work, you’ll find her in the kitchen, exploring her love for cooking.

Serena is a dedicated Strata Assistant with two years specialising in Repairs and Maintenance. She enjoys working through problems to find practical solutions and takes pride in being efficient, and approachable. Always keen to build her skills, Serena brings a positive and helpful approach to her role.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading with her cats and discovering new facts about history.

Vanessa Hendrey

Administration

Vanessa began working in the strata management industry in 2018 in an administration role and has gained experience across a range of administrative roles and responsibilities. Vanessa is the primary receptionist and administration support officer for Cassels Strata clients and may be your first point of contact when calling our offices. Vanessa takes prides in assisting with your queries in a friendly, welcoming manner.

Maddy began working in the strata management industry with Cassels in 2025 with a strong foundation in customer service. Gaining six years of experience, Maddy understands the importance of building and maintaining trusted, long-term relationships with clients.

She has over 4 years’ experience within administration roles and the real estate industry where she worked in a variety of areas including, reception, records management, and various support roles. Maddy is known for her proactive approach and attention to detail, she is committed to delivering positive outcomes for owners and clients by consistently going above and beyond to achieve exceptional results.

Alister Smith

Accountant

Alister graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and has been working in strata management since. His experience includes budget preparation, end of month accruals and adjustments, cash flow reporting and liaising with auditors.

Hayley Hughes

Accounts Officer

Hayley began her body corporate career in 2010, and since that time has focussed her expertise in the areas of accounts payable/receivable, levy enquires, and account adjustments. She is also a highly skilled administrator having obtained a Certificate 3 in Business Administration and gaining essential experience in reception and personal assistant roles during her early career. Hayley enjoys problem solving and making our clients’ lives easier.

Jaimee Buckley

Accounts Officer

Jaimee began her career in body corporate management in 2012. During this time, she gained extensive experience in accounts management including payable / receivable, financial reporting and levy management. Jaimee takes great pride in providing a personal and client-centred approach with our internal and external clients.

She has acquired a broad knowledge of strata management through a variety of roles from general administration and strata assistant. Her efficient and courteous manner builds rapport with both our clients, and industry partners.
